On March 2, 2012: Miss Porntip  Chuamchaitrakool - Graduate student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Joewono Widjaja won the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award of Science and Technology Session from "ASEAN Plus Three Graduate Research Congress (AGRC 2012) International Conference" held by Graduate School of Chiang Mai University at The Empress Hotel, Chiang Mai, during 29 February – 2 March 2012 with the presentation entitled “Extraction of Object Depth from In-Line Holograms Using Wigner Distribution Function”.  The honor is generally awarded the presenters whose total score are 96 – 100  (the maximum score was 100 and the student was at 98 scores), and the numbers of presenters in the Science and Technology Session this year was 140 people.
