Repeated fed-batch fermentation using free and immobilized cells of L. lactis-11 with ceramic beads (1–2 mm) under anaerobic condition with initial glucose of 9 g L-1 at 42 ± 0.1 C, pH 6.0 ± 0.02. (A) The free and immobilized cell concentrations of each run; (B) the lactic acid and glucose concentrations of each run.
