Tree 15-20 m tall, deciduous, bark brown-gray, buttressed. Leaves alternate,stipulate,odd-pinnately compound, leaflets alternate, 2-4 pairs, rachis7-15 cm, leaflets sessile, ovate-oblong, entire, apex rounded, 2-4 cm by 1-2 cm. Inflorescence a compound panicle terminal and axillary, 8-20 cm long. Flower; pedicellate, bract acute, bisexual, irregular, 5 mm by 3 mm.
