Descriptions : Scrambler, with white latex; stem and petiole with brown hairs; leaves opposite, simple, petiolate, narrowly elliptic; apex acuminate; base rounded; upper surface glabrous, lower surface glabrous except some appressed hairs on and near midvein; stipules with approximately 3 or 4 small, dark conical teeth; inflorescence an axillary or terminal cyme; peduncles and pedicels brown with brown hairs; calyx green, with 5 acute, overlapping lobes; corolla salver-shaped, with 5 elongate, overlapping lobes (in bud, left overlapping right); lobes with white hairs on inner surface; throat with small opening; stamens 5, inserted on inside of corolla tube, not exserted from corolla tube; anthers with sagittate bases, pressed against stigma; ovaries 2, free, with apical hairs; style 1; stigma enlarged with produced conical apex and equatorial sulcus; 5 clavate glands surrounding ovary.
