Herb, erect, with angled stem, much of plant with white, appressed medifixed hairs(attached near the middle); stipules acute, small; leaves alternate, trifoliolate, imparipinnate; stipels very small; leaflets obovate or narrowly obovate, upper surface with appressed hairs, lower surface with appressed hairs and white dot-like glands; inflorescence a short raceme; flower shortly pedicellate, with a bract subtending base of pedicel; calyx with appressed hairs outside; calyx with 5 long, subulate lobes, much longer than calyx tube; banner ± obovate, without distinct claw, densely hairy outside with appressed hairs; inside pinkish, without auricles; wings glabrous, pinkish; keels outside with horn-like projections on either side, green with appressed hairs; inside pinkish; androecium diadelphous (1 + 9), anthers apiculate; style glabrous; stigma terminal, small; fruits 4-angled with 4 narrow wings, with white appressed hairs and white glands.
