Descriptions : Tree; leaves decussate, odd pinnately compound, with 11 to 13 leaflets; leaflets elliptic or ovate or broadly elliptic; apex variable, but often acute to rounded, sometimes with a slight notch and tiny mucro; base obtuse or rounded, slightly attenuate; upper and lower leaf let surfaces with very short hairs, more dense on lower surface; lower surface of some leaflets with small depressions surrounded by hairs (possibly mite domatia); flowers: calyx not seen; corolla creamy white, soft, fragile, funnel-shaped, approximately 7 cm. long, with tube expanding outwards; lobes 5, with crenulate, crinkled margins; outside of corolla tube and lobes and inside of lobes with glandular hairs; stamens 4, slightly exserted from mouth of corolla, 2 slightly larger than other 2; stamens adnate to inside of corolla tube; filaments glabrous; staminode 1; gynoecium not seen.
