spindle-shaped gland between each of the lower 2 pairs of leaflets; leaflets obovate or oblong; apex rounded or emarginate, minutely mucronate; base rounded, asymmetric; leaflet margin entire; upper surface glabrous, lower surface with hairs; stipules subulate; inflorescence axillary, with several flowers; flower: sepals 5, green, overlapping in bud; petals 5, free, yellow, clawed with obovate limb, the largest petal up to 2x the size of the smallest; stamens free; 7 stamens fertile, anthers with distal pores (probably pollinated by buzzing of bees); 1 stamen small, but possibly fertile; 2 stamens small, sterile (according to Flora of Thailand, stamens 7, nearly equal, reduced stamens absent); ovary elongate, curved, with lateral longitudinal groove on each side; ovary with appressed hairs; style terete, glabrous; stigma button-like; fruit (immature) linear and flattened, curved or nearly straight, with many seeds (according to Flora of Thailand, fruits terete).
