Vine ; leaves with acute, paper- like brown stipules; leaves uni-or trifoliolate; acute stipels; leaflets ovate or elliptic with short pointed tips, adaxial surface glabrous, shiny, abaxial surface with appressed hairs; inflorescence raceme-like, but with flowers in pairs; flower with 2 basal bracteoles; calyx green, with 5 acute lobes, somewhat hairy outside, 2 partly fused; corolla white, resupinate; standard without auricle, hairy outside; 2 wings and 2 keels much shorter than standard; androecium diadelphous (9 + 1), stamens of approximate equal length; ovary with very short hairs, style flattened distally, hairy, especially on vexillar side, stigma terminal; young fruit shortly stipitate, fleshy, elliptic in cross section.
