Descriptions : Herb ; bristle-like, appressed white hairs on stems, both leaf surfaces, petiole, peduncle,
outside of calyx, and outside of corolla limbe; leaves stipulate, alternate, elongate, shortly
petioled; terminal inflorescence, racemose(?) with flowers on upper surface only; flowers shortly
pedicellate; calyx green with 5 free, slightly overlapping petals; corolla mostly white with orange
throat, approximately funnel-shaped with cylindrical tube and star-shaped limb, throat with tuft
of hairs; 5 stamens, filaments adnate to inside of corolla tube; connective(?) produced as ball-like
structure with short, soft bristles or hairs; ovary with cone-shaped style and disc-shaped structure
(at base of stigma?); fruit (collected 17/7/1999) with 4 nutlets, hairs outside, mostly on apical half
of fruit.
