                             3. ทุนผู้ช่วยสอนและผู้ช่วยวิจัย ทุนละ 5,000 บาท/เดือน

                             4. ทุนสนับสนุนค่าใช้จ่ายในการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัย ทุนละ 3,000 บาท

                             5. ทุนการศึกษาสำหรับผู้มีผลการเรียนดีเด่น

                             6. ทุนการศึกษาสำหรับผู้มีศักยภาพเข้าศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา

Financial support & Scholarship

The following types of financial support are available:

SUT outstanding academic performance scholarship

Students coming in the Chemistry program with outstanding academic performance (honors or in the top 5% of their classes) may apply for this scholarship. This scholarship provides tuition and other fees, and lodging and living expenses.

Royal Golden Jubilee Doctoral Scholarship

Students with honors or in the top 5% of their classes may apply through their advisors for this scholarship. Awards consist of tuition and other fees, textbook expenses, and monthly stipend plus expenses for studying and doing research abroad for a period up to one year.

SUT high potential student scholarships

Students coming in to the Chemistry program with grade point average of at least 2.75 in their major fields are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The scholarships provide tuition and other fees. There are 2-3 scholarships per year.

SUT teaching and research assistantships (TA/RA)

Graduate students with grade point average of 3.25 or higher may be awarded the TA/RA. This assistantship has workload of ten hours per week and comprises of 50% reduction of tuition fee and stipend of 10,300-13,750 Baht per trimester.

SUT thesis support grants

All graduate students who have no financial support may receive thesis support grants from SUT (30,000 Baht for Master Degree Program and 50,000 Baht for Doctoral Degree Program).

Research assistantships (RA)

All graduate students may be awarded the half-time RA from advisor’s research grants. This assistantship has workload of 3-4 days per week and receives stipend of 5,000-6,000 Baht per month.

UDC scholarships

Faculty of the Thai government universities wishing to study at graduate level may apply for UDC scholarships through the Commission of Higher Education. Recipients of this award will be required to return to and work for their institutions after graduation. Scholarships provide tuition and fees, textbook expenses, and lodging and living expenses. In addition, students are able to study or perform research abroad for a period of up to one year.

Other scholarships

The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), the Institute for the Promotion of Science and Technology (IPST), and The National Synchrotron Research Center (NSRC), offer scholarships tenable at SUT. The scholarships provide tuition and other fees, textbook expenses, and lodging and living expenses. Applications for students from advisors should be sent directly to the above agencies.
