The School of Biology began its role in developing human resources in biology since 1997. The programs firstly offered were Master and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Environmental Science. More than a decade has passed with our mission remains unchanged. We developed a new bachelor curriculum in Biology (Honors Program). As we realized that in the context of a changing world, graduates with diverse specialties are required to serve the society. Moreover, experts in various fields may be seen as resources for multidisciplinary research which the School of Biology never fails to encourage.
We believe, doing research is the best way to achieve the production of human resources that can push forward the knowledge-based society. We have been doing our best in training students to think critically and solve problems in order to make them become professional biologists.
Students in the School of Biology can gain access to all research facilities in the university and will be guided through their research topics by our skilled staff members. Being an important part of discoveries and advancements in Biology is what they will surely accomplish.
